What do we treat?

What do we treat?

  • Osteoarthritis of the joints and spine (arthrosis)

is the result of damage to articular cartilage and other joint structures. It manifests itself by pain during joint movements, and in advanced stages also at rest. Other symptoms include stiffness, limited range of motion and crepitus in the joints. Although degenerative disease cannot be completely cured, there are many effective ways to alleviate its symptoms and slow down its progression.
Recommended treatments for OA include: sulphide baths, mud compresses, classic massage, physical therapy treatments such as: local/systemic cryotherapy, phonophoresis (ultrasound with an analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent), TENS currents, iontophoresis, anti-gravity treadmill, manual therapy (including mobilization and soft tissue therapy).
Spinal pain syndromes (including sciatica and discopathy)
manifested by pain, stiffness, and limited mobility. The most common causes are overload of the musculoskeletal system and insufficient physical activity caused by a sedentary lifestyle. The key element in therapy is to determine the cause of the ailment and select the appropriate treatment. Recommended treatments include: sulphide baths, mud baths, mud compresses, hydrojet, classic massages, manual therapy (mobilization, soft tissue therapy), kinesiotherapy and physical therapy treatments: local/systemic cryotherapy, magnetronics, TENS, iontophoresis, ultrasound.

  • Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)

is an autoimmune disease of connective tissue that manifests itself by non-specific symmetric arthritis (pain, swelling, fever, joint stiffness, joint deformation). It does not only concern elderly people, but increasingly younger people. So far, no effective drug for RA has been found that could cure this disease completely, but implementing appropriate physiotherapeutic treatment can effectively alleviate or even completely stop the progression of this disease. Recommended treatments include: sulphide baths, mud baths, mud compresses, hydrojet, manual therapy (mobilization, soft tissue therapy), kinesiotherapy and physical therapy treatments: local/systemic cryotherapy, magnetronics, TENS, iontophoresis, ultrasound.

  • Psoriatic arthritis

It is a chronic inflammatory disease of the musculoskeletal system characterized by pain, stiffness, limited joint mobility and, in more severe forms, joint deformations. Additionally, there are skin lesions in the form of red lumps, most often on the scalp, buttocks and elbows. Recommended treatments include: sulphide baths, mud baths, mud compresses, hydrojet, manual therapy (mobilization, soft tissue therapy), kinesiotherapy and physical therapy treatments: local/systemic cryotherapy, magnetronics, TENS, iontophoresis, ultrasound.

  • Ankylosing spondylitis (AS)

Is also called Becheterew's disease. It is a chronic inflammation of the spine, which initially affects the sacroiliac joints, small joints and ligaments of the spine, and the fibrous rings of the intervertebral discs. Its main symptoms are stiffness of the spine and pain that may radiate to the buttocks, groin and knee joints. Recommended treatments include: sulphide bath, mud wraps, high-energy laser, TENS, iontophoresis.

  • Atopic dermatitis

is a chronic skin disease characterized by typical changes such as redness, papules and vesicles. Lesions may appear on the face, popliteal fossa, elbow area, as well as on the inside of the limbs. Recommended treatments include: sulphide bath, Q.Light lamp

  • Gout
  • Conditions after fractures, dislocations and sports injuries
  • Conditions after orthopedic surgery such as joint replacement, ligament reconstruction, etc.
  • Painful shoulder syndrome, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow

  • Consequences of cerebral strokes

depend on the extent of the stroke and the location of the lesion focus. These include muscle contractures and atrophy, increased muscle tension, balance disorders, deep and superficial sensory disorders, and gait disorders. Recommended treatments include: whirlpool massage of the upper limbs, whirlpool massage of the whole body (pearl bath), classic massage, manual therapy (PNF, gait reeducation), individual kinesitherapy, anti-gravity treadmill.

  • Psoriasis

is a disease characterized by skin lesions in the form of red lumps, most often on the scalp, buttocks and elbows. It is a non-infectious, systemic inflammatory disease. Recommended treatments include: sulphide baths, mud baths, mud compresses, hydrojet, manual therapy (mobilization, soft tissue therapy), kinesiotherapy and physical therapy treatments: local/systemic cryotherapy, magnetronics, TENS, iontophoresis, ultrasound

  • Chronic cardiac diseases (arterial hypertension, venous insufficiency)
  • Chronic respiratory diseases (bronchial asthma, chronic sinusitis, post-Covid19 condition)
